What is the difference between OBD2 diagnostics from service diagnostics?
The OBD2 diagnostics allows to perform the engine diagnostics only. It is an independent diagnostic system. OBD2 system may only diagnose the parts of the engine which the car manufacturer have made available. Service diagnostics, as indicated by its name, is intended for service garages, generally without any limits to any parts of the car. We have access to the whole car electronics, the engine, ABS, ESP, AirBag, Immo, air-conditioning system, etc.
