We will not be liable for any damage or loss caused by connection/use or misuse of any product we sell whatsoever, it is assumed the user has sufficient knowledge to use the tools and they accept all responsibility for the use/misuse of any product sold on this site.Payment DetailsThe ScanTool-Direct website accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Maestro and Delta through Paypal. All product prices and delivery charges are shown in UK pounds sterling. Your payment card company will perform any currency conversion.Availability of Goods You OrderIf we do not have sufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, we will notify you as soon as possible with the option to wait or refund your payment, any sum debited from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and we will notify you by email at the address given by you in your order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. North Down Diagnostics will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Please note: we endeavour to bring our customers the best value we can by running special offers, but please remember stocks are limited at the special offer price, and subject to availability. We update our website as quickly as we can to minimise disappointment. The process of updating the website when goods have sold out at promotional price can take a few hours to update.
Changes to This Agreement North Down Diagnostics reserves the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these terms and conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unforeseen, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
We must be notified of faulty or damaged items via email within 7 days of receipt of the item, for the item to be replaced. In the event of the buyer wishing to return an item to us, postage costs are born by the buyer. All items being returned must have "Returns Authorisation" granted by us in writing or by email. We do not accept liability for any return costs or responsibility for returns that are lost in transit. You should ensure that the item is adequately packaged for return. Items that are damaged in transit to us are not our responsibility so please ensure the item is well packed for the journey.
We do not accept personal returns, we are not a retail outlet and do not have any means of accepting returns other than by postal or courier delivery. It is in your best interest to return any item via a tracked and insured option. We will not be held responsible for any loss due to no option to track the package or lack of insurance to cover the cost of the item against damage or loss.
The covering warranty is from date of purchase and is from the manufacturer, this does not include any normal wear and tear. All items purchased are used at your own risk and we reserve the right to amend or add to these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. We do not have any control over My Hermes, PayPal, or Royal Mail, we cannot be held responsible for their actions, you should contact each one directly for assistance if needed. Items must be returned in a resellable condition including the items packaging. Returns may be subject to a restocking/handling charge.
Diagnostic Software and downloadable products are non refundable once an activation key has been issued and activated. If an activation key has not been issued, then a refund/exchange will be offered. This includes products that are made in part with software. If a refund is to be issued the price of the hardware will be refunded if the activation key/promo code has been issued/emailed to the customer.
Refunds will be issued back to the card used to make payment or the Paypal/ Bank account used to fund the original payment.
The goods should also be returned with their original box, packing and all accessories and any paperwork.
Goods returned due to the customer not wanting or wishing to keep the goods will be subject to a restocking fee which can be up to 20% where there is signs of use and any postage costs are non refundable. No item will be accepted for return after 30 (thirty) days from dispatch date unless previously agreed with Scantool-Direct and the customer. Exclusions to this are faulty goods, No Returns for Software or other media that are of digital form that have been activated..
